About DAAVY Research & Testing

DAAVY Research supplies laboratory research materials with an emphasis on transparent documentation, lot-specific analytical review, and research-use-only controls. This page explains how that works in practice — what gets tested, who tests it, and what a customer can expect to find documented for any given lot.

Third-Party Analytical Documentation

Current products are paired with third-party analytical documentation when reports are available. Testing for DAAVY Research's current catalog is conducted by Bioviridian, an independent laboratory not owned or operated by DAAVY Research. Reports are lot-specific, meaning each Certificate of Analysis corresponds to a particular production batch rather than a generic claim applied across every unit ever sold under a product name. Where a final report has not yet been published for a given lot, the site states that status directly rather than displaying a placeholder report number or reusing an unrelated lot's documentation.

Depending on the compound, analytical documentation may include identity confirmation (commonly via mass spectrometry, confirming the material matches its expected molecular structure) and purity quantification (commonly via reversed-phase HPLC, reported as a percentage). The COA Guide and Interactive COA Decoder in the Research Academy walk through how to read these fields and what a red flag looks like on a report that doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

Research-Use Controls

Order requests are reviewed for legitimate laboratory, analytical, academic, or institutional research use. Products are not intended for human or veterinary use or consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or prevention. In practice, this review happens at checkout: customers confirm their research category, certify research-use intent, and confirm they are not purchasing for human or veterinary consumption before an order request can be submitted. These controls apply uniformly regardless of payment method.

Documentation Standards

Product pages identify the research material, labeled amount, testing status, and available Certificate of Analysis information for the specific lot currently in stock. Where a compound is offered in more than one size or configuration, each size's documentation is tracked and displayed separately rather than sharing a single report across different labeled amounts. Customers may contact DAAVY Research with questions about lot documentation or current report availability, and the Certificate of Analysis Library provides a running index of reports as they become available.

Research content published in the DAAVY Research Academy, including compound-specific research overviews, is reviewed by Shane Straight, M.S., Principal Chemist at Bioviridian, for accuracy against the cited literature.
